Mahindra has unveiled the XUV 7XO, a comprehensive facelift of its successful XUV700, with an aggressive introductory price starting at ₹13.66 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings for the new model open on January 14 for a token of ₹21,000, with the launch offer valid for the first 40,000 customers.
The SUV receives a substantial design update, featuring a new signature grille, redesigned headlamps with a projector setup, and reworked front and rear bumpers. The XUV 7XO is also equipped with advanced AdrenoX connected car technology and a comprehensive ADAS suite. Safety is paramount, with a five-star BNCAP rating, seven airbags, ABS with EBD, and electronic stability control.

Under the hood, the XUV 7XO retains the proven powertrains from the XUV700. Buyers can choose between a 2.0-litre mStallion turbo-petrol engine (197bhp/380Nm) and a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine (182bhp/450Nm). Both engines are offered with a choice of a six-speed manual or a six-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
The SUV is available in a wide range of configurations across six main trim levels: AX, AX3, AX5, AX7, AX7T, and AX7L, offered in both 6- and 7-seater layouts. While the base petrol-manual variant starts at ₹13.66 lakh, the diesel range begins at ₹14.96 lakh. Prices for the fully-loaded automatic versions extend up to ₹24.11 lakh for the diesel AX7L 6-seater. This strategic positioning makes the feature-rich XUV 7XO a compelling contender in the competitive premium SUV segment. Stay tuned for the full review coming out soon.
