Maruti Suzuki will launch the highly awaited Baleno RS today. The car, with its turbocharged petrol engine, all-discs braking setup, and 950 kilo weight, is expected to be a stonker of a warm hatchback. The car can now be booked against an advance payment of Rs 11,000, and since it will be available only in one fully-loaded trim, it will get features like automatic climate control, SmartPlay infotainment system, black alloy wheels, among other additions over what you get in the regular Baleno. The 1-litre direct injection, turbocharged petrol engine (Boosterjet) makes 100.5 bhp and 15.29 kgm. In terms of safety, apart from updating the braking system, the company will offer dual airbags, ABS, and 195-section tyres as part of the standard equipment.
