The Maruti Suzuki Swift has reached an impressive milestone of 3 million sales in India and 6 million sales worldwide setting a new benchmark in the Swift brand.

The latest model of the Maruti Suzuki Swift is powered by a new 1.2-litre, three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine, replacing the 1.2-litre four-cylinder mill. The new engine delivers 81 bhp of power and 11.4 kgm of torque. The new Swift retains most of its iconic design elements from the third generation, the new Swift features subtle updates such as a taller and narrower profile, refreshed exterior elements including a honeycomb-pattern grille, extended LED headlamps, and a revised front bumper.

This isn’t the first time Maruti Suzuki has crossed the million milestone, eight years after its initial introduction, it surpassed 1 million sales in 2013 and reached the 2 million sales mark in 2018.

Partho Banerjee, senior executive officer of marketing & sales at Maruti Suzuki India Limited, highlighted that the Swift embodies more than just a vehicle for its millions of owners, symbolizing fun, freedom, and exhilaration. He emphasized how each new generation of Swift raises the bar with advanced technology, contemporary style, and the unique ‘Swift DNA’ that resonates with customers. Banerjee expressed deep gratitude for this milestone and thanked Swift owners nationwide.
