The Maruti Suzuki Victoris has pulled off a full 5-star Bharat NCAP safety rating, making it one of the safest cars in India right now. Only the Maruti Dzire had managed this before, but the Victoris goes further by being the first Maruti Suzuki car with Level-2 ADAS — so drivers get lane-keeping, adaptive cruise, and other smart assists that step in when instincts aren’t enough. The crash test numbers back it up too, scoring 31.66 out of 32 points for adult safety and 43 out of 49 for child protection.

Maruti hasn’t held back on gear here: six airbags (front, side, and curtain), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), ISOFIX mounts as standard, seatbelt pretensioners and load limiters, pedestrian protection technology, seatbelt reminders for all seats, and 3-point seatbelts throughout the cabin complete the package, making it ready for the family.

On the outside, the Maruti Suzuki Victoris looks sharper than the usual ‘safe’ family car thanks to slim LED headlamps, a connected LED tail-light strip, alloy wheels, and a powered tailgate. Inside, it packs a 10.25-inch digital ‘Command Centre,’ Dolby-supported audio, ambient lighting you can set to your mood, and an air purifier with live air-quality readouts that constantly remind you how much Delhi traffic is trying to kill you.

Buyers get plenty of choice under the hood: a 1.5-litre petrol with a 5-speed manual, the same with a 6-speed automatic, a 1.5-litre strong-hybrid with eCVT for those chasing fuel efficiency, and even a CNG variant with a first-in-segment underbody tank that frees up boot space while meeting safety standards.
