Hyundai India has officially revealed the all-new Venue, marking a significant update to one of the brand’s most popular compact SUVs. While it continues with the same set of engines under the hood, the new Venue arrives with a strikingly refreshed design, a revamped cabin, and a revised variant nomenclature. Bookings are now open across Hyundai dealerships and online for a token amount of ₹25,000, with the official price announcement scheduled for November 4.
On the outside, the new Venue adopts a more mature and commanding stance, now 48mm taller and 30mm wider than its predecessor. The refreshed design includes quad-beam LED headlamps, twin-horn LED DRLs, a dark chrome radiator grille, and horizon-style connected LED tail lamps that stretch across the rear. Adding to its sporty appeal are bridge-type roof rails, a bold ‘Venue’ emblem, and a new C-pillar garnish, ensuring that the SUV stands out in urban traffic and offbeat trails alike.
Inside, and the Venue feels significantly more upmarket. The redesigned cabin now features dual 12.3-inch digital displays—one for the instrument cluster and another for infotainment—bringing a modern, tech-laden feel to the compact SUV. The interior is further elevated with dual-tone leather upholstery, ambient lighting, and a D-cut steering wheel for a sportier driving impression. Passenger comfort has also been enhanced with electric four-way driver seat adjustment, rear sunshades, rear AC vents, and two-step reclining rear seats—features usually seen in larger, more expensive SUVs.
Hyundai has also introduced a new ‘HX’ variant nomenclature across the range, streamlining its lineup for 2025. A new diesel automatic option has joined the mix, offering greater convenience for those who prefer the torque-rich diesel performance paired with an automatic gearbox.
Mechanically, the new Venue continues with the tried-and-tested powertrains: a 1.2-litre Kappa petrol producing 82 bhp & 11.34 kgm , a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol TGDi which makes 118 bhp & 117.53 kgm, and a 1.5-litre U2 CRDi diesel 114 bhp, 25.49 kgm. Transmission options include 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, 6-speed automatic, and 7-speed DCT, ensuring that there’s something for every type of driver.
The new Venue aims to build on its predecessor’s strong foundation with a more premium feel, updated tech, and a more commanding presence—all while retaining its reputation for practicality and reliability. With bookings now open, the refreshed Venue looks ready to reclaim its place at the top of India’s compact SUV charts. Stay tuned for a full review coming out in a couple of weeks.
