Hyundai Motor India has expanded the lineup for the Exter by Hy-CNG Duo model by now introducing it from the entry-level variant. Priced at Rs 7.51 Lakh (ex-showroom, India), this base EX trim is affordable by Rs 1.3 lakh compared to the EX-MT. Moreover, the EX trim can only be had with the automaker’s dual CNG tank option.

The EX-variant’s features list includes six airbags, a 4.2-inch MID digital instrument cluster, driver seat height adjustment, keyless entry, H-shaped LED taillamps, and rear parking sensors. Additionally, it features twin-cylinder tanks with a combined capacity of 60 litres, and according to ARAI certification, it offers a fuel efficiency of 27.1 km per kg of CNG.

Powering the Exter Hy-CNG Duo is a 1.2-litre bi-fuel ‘Kappa’ engine which produces 67.7 bhp and 9.70 kgm of torque. As for the gearbox options, unlike its petrol counterpart, which is offered with an automated manual transmission (AMT) gearbox, the CNG variants are limited to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
