Porsche has revealed the refreshed 992-generation 911 Carrera 4S, now available in Coupe, Cabriolet (convertible), and Targa variants. The updated model brings subtle design tweaks, enhanced performance, and the same legendary driving dynamics that define the 911 lineage. Positioned above the rear-wheel-drive Carrera S but below the electrified GTS T-Hybrid, the Carrera 4S continues to be a compelling choice for enthusiasts who crave all-wheel-drive precision.

The Coupe remains a pure two-seater, optimized for performance and agility. Meanwhile, the Cabriolet and Targa versions offer a 2+2 seating layout, combining open-top thrills with everyday practicality. The Targa, with its signature roll bar and retractable roof, remains one of Porsche’s most distinctive models, blending classic aesthetics with modern engineering.

Under the hood, the Carrera 4S retains its 3.0-litre twin-turbo flat-six engine, now producing 480 bhp—the same output as the rear-driven Carrera S. However, Porsche’s all-wheel-drive system ensures superior traction, especially in challenging conditions.

With the optional Sport Chrono Package and Launch Control, the 911 Carrera 4S can sprint from 0-100 kph in just 3.1 seconds, making it one of the quickest non-hybrid models in the lineup. The top speed is electronically limited to 306 kph.

While the facelift doesn’t bring radical changes, Porsche has fine-tuned the front bumper, headlights, and rear diffuser for a sharper look. Inside, the latest Porsche Communication Management (PCM) infotainment system offers improved connectivity and driver assistance features.

The Carrera 4S sits between the Carrera S (RWD) and the GTS T-Hybrid (AWD with electrified performance). Buyers who want the security of all-wheel drive without stepping into hybrid territory will find the 4S an ideal balance.

Porsche is expected to begin deliveries of the facelifted 911 Carrera 4S in late 2025. Pricing will vary by market, but the Coupe will likely be the most affordable, followed by the Targa and Cabriolet.
