Finally, Skoda’s thrown down the gauntlet as it reveals the prices for the all-new Kushaq. Prices for it starts at Rs 10.5 lakh, ex-showroom and goes all the way up to Rs 17.6 lakh, ex-showroom. It comes with four years or 1 lakh-km warranty which can be extended up to six years or 1.5 lakh km.
Now, the Kushaq is available in three trims namely, Active, Ambition and Style. The Active and Ambition trim only gets the choice of a 114-bhp 1.0-litre TSI petrol engine, while the top of the line Style trim, in addition to the three-cylinder turbo petrol engine, also gets the powerful 148-bhp 1.5-litre TSI engine. There are three transmission options that are available. The 1.0-litre turbo petrol can be mated to either a 6-speed manual ‘box or a 6-speed torque converter auto gearbox. On the features front, the Kushaq gets LED headlights and tail lights, LED DRLs, fog lights, and 17-inch alloys. Inside, the Kushaq packs a decent amount of tech. For instance, it gets a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless charging, ventilated front seats, electric sunroof, among others. As far as safety is concerned, it gets six airbags, ABS with EBD, traction control, ESC, tyre pressure monitoring system, rear view camera along with parking sensors, and hill-hold control.
