Elephant-memoried readers might remember the Grand i10 Nios Corporate Edition from two years ago. Well, it has just been brought back, and prices begin from Rs 6.93 lakh. The Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Corporate Edition aims to offer just a little bit more than the base variants for buyers on a budget but still looking to get their money’s worth.
Let’s start with the outer bits; the Grand i10 Nios Corporate Edition receives 15-inch dual-tone steel rims, black-finished grille, and body-coloured door handles. The ORVMs are also body-coloured and come equipped with turn-indicators on the AMT variants. There is also a new ‘Amazon Grey’ paint scheme on offer, and it receives ‘Corporate’ badging on the tailgate.
Things haven’t changed under the hood, with the 1.2-litre powertrain churning out 82 bhp and 11.6 kgm of torque, with the option of either a 5-speed manual or an AMT.
The dual-tone grey interiors have been retained. The 3.5-inch instrument cluster with the MID comes as standard across all variants, as does the footwell lighting and height-adjustability for the driver’s seat. While the 8.0-inch touch screen infotainment display is reserved for the higher variants, the Corporate Edition gets a 6.75-inch screen which is also a touch screen unit. However, this one makes do without Android Auto or Apple CarPlay, but there’s still bluetooth connectivity on offer. Other features include steering-mounted controls, rear A/C vents, a fast-charging USB socket, tyre pressure monitoring, six airbags, speed-sensing auto lock, powered ORVMs, and a day-night IRVM among other things.
The Corporate Edition is available in both manual and automatic trims; the manual can be had from Rs 6.93 lakh, while the AMT can be had from Rs 7.57 lakh (all prices ex-showroom).
