Hyundai Motor India has announced a new #WhenYouLoveToExplore video project. Through this the company will showcase the upcoming sub-Creta compact SUV’s journey through various geographies in India.
The SUV (rumoured to be called Hyundai Styx /QXi) starts its journey from the company’s manufacturing plant in Chennai (Sriperumbudur). Through the project Hyundai will focus on things like performance, drivability, and comfort.
In their words, the series of videos ‘will underline the SUV’s drivability in enduring high latitudes and extreme weather conditions showcasing the character, strength, and capabilities’.
When launched the SUV will go against vehicles like the XUV300, Ford EcoSport, Tata Nexon, Honda WR-V, and Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza. As we’ve come to expect from Hyundai, it will be loaded with features.
The video provides clear evidence that a sunroof is present, the silhouette is very similar to the Creta’s, the front has a ‘cascading’ grille, and the primary lights are sleeker — as seen on the Kona. The distinct square-shaped DRLs underneath the lamps also make for a striking addition in terms of design.
