Vietnam-based electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer VinFast has taken a significant step toward establishing its presence in India by opening its first authorised showroom in Surat, Gujarat. This move comes ahead of the company’s planned EV plant inauguration in the country, signalling its commitment to India’s growing electric mobility market.

The new showroom marks a big milestone for VinFast as it aims to introduce its electric vehicle lineup to Indian consumers. According to the company, the outlet will serve as a physical touchpoint, allowing customers to explore VinFast’s products and experience its customer-centric EV ecosystem firsthand.

Pham Sanh Chau, CEO of VinFast Asia, emphasized the importance of this launch, stating, “The first VinFast Showroom in Surat, Gujarat, is a symbol of our deep commitment to India. We are excited to bring the VinFast experience closer to Indian consumers. With this dealership, we aim to offer not just electric vehicles but a complete ownership journey built on quality, trust, and service excellence.”

VinFast has also officially opened pre-bookings for its premium electric SUVs, the VF 6 and VF 7, in India. Interested customers can reserve these models either by visiting the showroom or through the company’s official website by paying a fully refundable booking amount of ₹21,000.

The company’s expansion into India aligns with the country’s push toward sustainable mobility and increasing demand for EVs. By setting up a manufacturing plant, VinFast aims to strengthen its foothold in the Indian market while contributing to the local economy.

As VinFast continues to spread its roots in India, the opening of its first showroom marks the beginning of what could be a transformative journey in the country’s EV sector. With competitive pricing, advanced technology, and a focus on customer experience, VinFast is poised to become a key player in India’s electric mobility revolution.
