Stage One of Aerathon Bharat — a journey powered by passion and the pursuit of a greener tomorrow — was officially in the bag. From the towering Statue of Unity to the heart of innovation at Matter’s Experience Hub in Ahmedabad, our electric dreams quite literally hit the road, and we couldn’t have asked for a better start.
The ride wasn’t just about getting from Point A to Point B. It was about making waves, sparking change, and showing what the future of sustainable mobility looks like — on two wheels, powered by zero emissions. The Matter Aera Motorcycles proved their mettle on Gujarat’s roads, effortlessly gliding through the landscapes, leaving nothing but awe in their wake (and, of course, zero carbon emissions). With each stop, we talked with locals, shared stories, and ignited conversations about climate change, showing that small shifts in thinking can lead to big changes for our planet.
The Aera’s 10kW motor, paired with a 4-speed gearbox, delivered both power and efficiency. It is powered by a liquid-cooled 5kW battery, offering a solid range of 125 kilometres — perfect for the demanding route of the Aerathon. And with a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen, complete with Bluetooth connectivity and navigation, the Aera kept us connected and on track throughout this massive undertaking.
Arriving at the Matter Experience Hub, the excitement was palpable. Our fellow Matter Community members were waiting, eager to welcome us and join this movement toward cleaner, smarter transportation. The energy? Electric. (Pun intended.)
But, folks, Stage One is only the beginning of something much bigger. Next up: over 25,000 kilometres of exploration, adventure, and purpose. We’re ready to crisscross 25 states, riding through cities, villages, mountains, and plains, all with one mission in mind — promoting sustainable mobility, one rev at a time. Along the way, we’ll be diving deep into discussions on the real impact of climate change, from shifting ecosystems to rising temperatures, and how we can all make a difference by choosing smarter mobility options.
So, here’s to what lies ahead — because the future isn’t just something we ride toward. It’s something we create, together.
