Hyundai India and Jio-bp Pulse have announced a partnership to integrate the latter’s charging network in the myHyundai app. Additionally, Jio-bp Pulse will eventually get access to Hyundai high-capacity chargers, and will start showing up in the Jio-bp Pulse Charge Pro app.
With this partnership, Jio-bp’s 7,000+ EV charging stations will be added to the myHyundai app, which currently lists more than 30,000 charging stations from other charge point operators (CPOs). However, the app is not limited to just Hyundai owners, and can be accessed by anyone.
This partnership only adds access to the Jio-bp chargers in the myHyundai app, and the chargers won’t be branded by Hyundai. The manufacturer currently has its own 183 DC fast chargers, which it plans to expand to 600 units by 2030.
Jio-bp Pulse currently has chargers ranging between 60 kW and 480 kW, and it claims an uptime of 96 per cent. Jio-bp Pulse has extensive coverage on highways, which it claims will help with long distance travel with an EV.
