Ever since it was first showcased at EICMA 2019, the Ducati Panigale V2 has piqued everyone’s interest, and now it’s finally here. The Panigale V2 is Ducati’s first BS6-compliant motorcycle to go on sale and comes to India as a CBU manufactured at Ducati’s plant in Thailand.
For starters, the Panigale V2 is powered by a 955cc superquadro L-twin engine producing 153 bhp@10750 rpm and peak torque of 10.6 kgm@9000 rpm. This is the same engine that was used in the Panigale 959 with a slight bump in performance.
The Panigale V2 also gets an updated exhaust, which now sits directly under the engine, a die-cast aluminium single-sided swingarm with a Sachs mono-shock at the rear and a 43 mm adjustable Showa fork up front. On the electronics front, it gets goodies like cornering ABS, traction control and a bi-directional quick shifter.
To help you keep a track of the electronic riding assists there’s a new 4.3-inch TFT colour display. The V2 will come shod with grippy Pirelli Diablo SuperCorsa SP rubber and stopping power comes from Brembo M50 Monoblocs.
The Panigale V2 is available now priced at Rs 16.99 lakh, ex-showroom, India.
