TVS Motor Company has launched a limited-edition version of the TVS Scooty Pep+, exclusively for its customers in Tamil Nadu ahead of Pongal festivities. The ‘Mudhal Kadhal’ edition is a way of celebrating more than 25 years of its existence in the India market, with special emphasis on Tamil Nadu. In fact, this new edition has its logo finished in Tamil, an industry first. There’s also an exclusive colour combination, as far as the paint job is concerned.
It is still powered by 87.8cc motor which produces 5.3-bhp and 0.66-kgm of torque. It also comes is equipped with TVS’ patented ‘Eazy’ Stand technology which is said to reduce the effort to put the vehicle on the centre stand by 30 percent. Prices for the standard Scooty Pep+ start at Rs 54,475, but the ‘Mudhal Kadhal’ edition is priced at 56,085 (all prices ex-showroom, Chennai). What do you make of TVS’ ode to the Scooty?
