We already know how well the Tata Nexon EV Max performs on the road, but it still has room for improvement elsewhere. Tata has done a fine job of upgrading the Nexon EV Max Dark Edition in its latest update. Well, what exactly are these changes?
The Dark Edition badge means nearly everything on the SUV gets that blacked-out treatment. There’s a hint of grey as well. The noteworthy changes are inside, however. It now gets a much-needed 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment by Harman with an HD display. Tata says the audio quality has also improved with sharp notes and bass. Besides this, you get an inbuilt air purifier, which displays the AQI on the new screen.
Another vital bit is that it now features wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The interface was slightly buggy on Android Auto, but we’re hoping all these bugs will be ironed out. Also, the newly upgraded reversing camera with a close-up angle and adaptive guidelines is much better than before. Oh, and if you don’t want to take your hands off the steering wheel, you can utilise the 180+ voice commands function, available in six different languages (English, Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, and Marathi).
You can get the Tata Nexon EV Max Dark Edition in two variants — XZ+ LUX and XZ+ LUX along with a 7.2-kWh AC wall box charger. The prices start from Rs 19.04 lakh, ex-showroom, India.
