Another day, another Pulsar. This time, Bajaj has introduced the new Pulsar N125, making it the third Pulsar in the 125cc space. While the Indian marque hasn’t revealed the pricing or the specifications yet, the unveil video reveals quite a few things.

And the most obvious of it all is the styling. Unlike most Pulsars out there, Bajaj has given the N125 a distinct look. From its aggressive headlight and the long split seat, to the tail section, everything is unique to this model. In fact, though the tank looks identical to the ‘N’ line of Pulsars, it blends well with the rest of the design.

But of course, this is Bajaj and there has to be some amount of part sharing. On the N125, the indicators look like they have been borrowed from the Bajaj Freedom 125. And just like the CNG-powered bike, the N125 gets claddings for the fork stanchions for a beefy look. The frame, alloy wheels and the front disc brake appears to be straight off the Pulsar N150, and just like the 150cc bike, this one too comes with only drum brake at the rear.

The video also reveals a Bluetooth-enabled LCD instrument console, and lively colours for the Pulsar N125. This is likely to be reserved for the top-end model, and like the Freedom 125, a base variant with halogen headlight, front drum brake and no connectivity features is also expected.

The Bajaj NS 125 uses a 124.45cc air-cooled engine that delivers 11.82 bhp and the Pulsar 125 delivers 11.64 bhp from its 2-valve 124.4cc engine. So, we expect the N125 to have a similar power figure. But is there really space for a third 125cc Pulsar, or does this mean the Pulsar 125 hangs up its boot? We’ll know soon enough.
