Lamborghini has raised the performance bar once again with the introduction of the Revuelto SV, its fastest and most powerful production model to date. Building on the already formidable Revuelto, the new SV variant receives a heavily upgraded powertrain that produces a staggering 1035 bhp, while its increased performance enables it to reach speeds of more than 344 kph. The new model represents Lamborghini’s latest interpretation of extreme performance, combining electrification with the Italian marque’s traditional focus on high-speed driving.

At the heart of the Revuelto SV is an upgraded version of Lamborghini’s electrified powertrain. The combination of a naturally aspirated V12 engine and electric motors delivers a substantial increase in overall output, giving the SV considerably more performance than the standard Revuelto. The hybrid system also allows Lamborghini to retain the character and response expected from a V12-powered supercar while adding the instant torque and additional performance provided by electric assistance.

The Revuelto SV’s headline figure is its 1035 bhp combined output, making it Lamborghini’s most powerful production model so far. This immense power is paired with an all-wheel-drive system and a sophisticated electronic control system designed to put the additional performance to the road. The result is a car engineered not simply to deliver huge numbers in a straight line, but also to provide the agility and control required from a flagship Lamborghini.

Aerodynamics also play an important role in the SV’s performance. The car receives a more aggressive aerodynamic package designed to increase downforce and improve high-speed stability. The visual changes give the Revuelto SV a more purposeful appearance while serving a functional purpose, helping the car remain composed as it approaches its claimed top speed of more than 344 kph.

The SV treatment extends beyond outright speed, with Lamborghini focusing on reducing weight and sharpening the car’s dynamic character. Changes to the chassis, suspension and braking systems are expected to complement the additional power, allowing drivers to exploit more of the car’s performance both on the road and track.

With the Revuelto SV, Lamborghini has demonstrated that electrification does not necessarily mean sacrificing the drama associated with a traditional supercar.
