What’s changed on the Mercedes-AMG A 45 S, then? Well, the updates are based on the C-Class’s most recent revision. It features a modified front with new headlamps and grille, reprofiled tail lights, AMG-exclusive alloys, and a roof spoiler. As for the Mercedes-Benz A-Class Limousine, it also receives redesigned headlamps and grille, new 17-inch alloys, and reprofiled tail lights.
Inside, the AMG A 45 S features dual 10.25-inch screens, one for the digital instrument cluster and the other for the touchscreen infotainment system, which now uses the most recent MBUX system. Besides this, it gets a new three-spoke steering wheel with touch controls, a revised Mercedes Me voice assistant, and keyless go. As for the luxury sedan, the A-Class Limousine also features a pair of 10.25-inch screens for the infotainment system and instrument cluster. It also receives a revised steering wheel with touch controls, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and an updated USB charger.
On the performance front, the AMG A 45 S packs 415 bhp and 50.99 kgm of torque from its 2-litre, four-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine, mated to an 8-speed dual-clutch auto and all-wheel drive system. It still accelerates from 0-100 kph in 3.9 seconds, by the way. The A-Class Limousine is only available in a single petrol variant (A 200), which is powered by a 1.3-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine producing 161 bhp and 25.49 kgm. Power is sent to the front wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch auto gearbox.
