Castrol POWER1, the performance lubricant brand collaborates with LCR Honda, Viacom18, and RACR to launch India’s Ultimate Motostar on MTV and JioCinema. The goal is to identify and promote top motorcycle racing enthusiasts, fostering a passion for motorcycle racing.
The content series is hosted by Karan Kundrra, an actor-influencer, and biking enthusiast. The competition will begin with regional auditions in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, and Chennai, culminating in a final race after professional training at RACR. Selected winners will train at the LCR Honda Castrol MotoGP Team’s European facility. The journey will be aired as a limited series on Jio Cinema and MTV.
Castrol’s rich history in competitive motorcycle racing globally dates back to the first Isle of Man TT in 1907. Sandeep Sangwan, Managing Director of Castrol India Limited, expressed their commitment to supporting India’s racing community. The initiative encourages riders across India to showcase their talent on a global stage, Showcasing on JioCinema and MTV, India’s Ultimate Motostar will bring India’s top moto talent to you.
Registrations opened on December 13, 2023, on MTV India’s microsite. Winners will train at the LCR Honda Castrol MotoGP™ Team’s European facility.
