Bajaj has just launched two new electric scooters, the Chetak 3501 and Chetak 3502, as part of its new 35 series, expanding the Chetak electric lineup. These new models build on the success of previous iterations of the Chetak EV, offering enhanced features and performance for a wider range of consumers.

Chetak 35 series

The Chetak 35 series retains the classic design and metal body construction that the Chetak name is known for, but it is totally new on the inside. The models now get a bonded glass TFT display, which supports features such as map navigation and touch-sensitive interaction. Additional functionalities include built-in document storage, a music player, and calling and texting capabilities.

The new Bajaj Chetak 3501 and 3502 have the same 3.5 kWh battery, offering a claimed range of 153 km and a top speed of 73 kph. This battery has been moved beneath the floorboard, which has given it 35 litres of boot space while bringing the centre of gravity lower. This also means that the frame has been redesigned to accommodate these changes. A new 950-watt charger enables a zero to 80 per cent charge in just 3 hours and 25 minutes.

The new Chetak 3501 is priced at Rs 1.27 lakh, while the Chetak 3502 is priced at Rs 1.2 lakh (both ex-showroom). The Chetak 2903 variant will also be sold side-by-side and will be a more affordable option. Bajaj aims to cater to the growing demand for eco-friendly transportation solutions with these new offerings, combining traditional scooter charm with the convenience and sustainability of electric mobility. The Chetak 3501 and 3502 are now available for bookings.
