Vespa has refreshed its entire range of scooters for this year, and also introduced new models: Tech and S Tech, along with a special-edition ‘Qala’ and an S Oro variant. The Italian company has priced the 125cc standard model at Rs 1.32 lakh onwards while the 125cc ‘S’ variant commands 1.36 lakh. And the new Tech and S Tech versions demand Rs 1.92 lakh and Rs 1.96 lakh (all prices ex-showroom Maharashtra).
Vespa Tech and S Tech
As the names suggest, the new models bring modern tech to the iconic retro design. These variants come with keyless ignition and a TFT console complete with bluetooth connectivity and navigation. While the Tech model gets three colours, the S Tech features two unique paint jobs
Vespa Qala
This special-edition model flaunts a distinct colourway featuring Mehendi art on a white-painted body complemented by bronze trims and alloy wheels. The Qala variant will be available in the Tech trim in 125cc and 150cc versions.
2025 Vespas Get Updated Engines
The Italian brand has also made changes to the engines. While the 124.45cc engine now delivers 9.3 bhp and 1.02 kgm, the 149.5cc mill disperses 11.2 bhp and 1.18 kgm. Though the performance remains unchanged on the 125, the 150 sees a slight bump in performance. But apart from that, the chassis and other cycle parts have been carried forward from the older model.
The new range of Vespa scooters will be available across dealerships by the end of this month. Though the company has not revealed the prices of the 150cc models yet, expect the Tech models to cross the Rs 2 lakh mark.
