More from Motoring

Before Royal Enfield’s Motoverse 2024 commences on November 22 in Goa, the company has pulled the wraps off the Goan Classic 350. And there’s a lot more to the new Classic 350-based bobber than just an ape hanger handlebar.

Complementing the new handlebar are the forward-set footpegs, a new floating seat and paint options. But along with the ergonomic changes, there are a bunch of other updates to this bike which includes a 19/16-inch wire-spoke tubeless rims, a blacked-out engine and a different exhaust.

That said, the 349cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine remains unchanged and continues to make 20.2 bhp and 2.7 kgm. Even the 5-speed gearbox remains unchanged,

The Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 flaunts 41-mm telescopic forks at the front with 130 mm of travel, while the rear gets 105.3 mm of travel. Dropping the anchor on the Goan is a 300-mm disc at the front and a 270-mm unit at the rear. The Goan Classic tips the scales at 197 kg (kerb), which makes it 2 kg heavier than the standard Classic 350.

Currently, the Royal Enfield Classic 350 retails at Rs 1.95 lakh onwards (ex-showroom), and considering the updates on this model, we expect this to be priced slightly higher.
