Norton Motorcycles has announced a new 450cc urban motorcycle, expanding its portfolio as part of the British brand’s ongoing resurgence under TVS Motor Company ownership. The motorcycle will go on sale in 2027, with its official name to be revealed closer to launch.
The new model is powered by a liquid-cooled, 454cc single-cylinder engine producing 45Nm of torque. It features an aluminium frame and an 8-inch TFT touchscreen with advanced connectivity features. Norton says the motorcycle has been developed around accessible performance, agile handling and contemporary technology, while retaining the design and engineering characteristics associated with the brand.
The 450cc motorcycle is part of Norton’s broader product strategy, which began taking shape at EICMA 2025 with the unveiling of four new-generation models: the Manx, Manx R, Atlas and Atlas GT. Deliveries of the Manx R and Atlas have commenced in European markets, while the other two models are expected to follow.
The announcement marks Norton’s expansion into a new motorcycle category as it looks to reach a wider customer base. The brand currently has a retail network of over 50 locations across 10 markets, including the UK, Italy, France, Germany and Spain. It is also preparing to enter the Indian and US markets.
Once launched, it’s biggest rival would be the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450. We expect the new Norton to make its debut in India in the second half of next year.
